I've just joined GooglePlay and rented a video (10 Rillington Place old version). When I try to play it I get a blank screen and the words "Video not Supported" but nothing to tell me what I need to do to support it. Anyone any idea? I am using a MacBook Air laptop, Safari Sierra. I await your words of wisdom. Thank you.

Not much you can do I don't think . It's a different format to the one you can play. I get this on a dvd with USB player, I really record many things and get Not supported.

How annoying netibiza but thank you. I've just joined specifically to watch this film, put all my bank details in there, paid £2.49 to rent it, and it won't play. And now I see Yogi has put a version to play on his thread about this film. Oh well I'll toddle off over there.
Your Answer...had another thought. Download VLC onto computer and then go into vlc media and try to play from there .
By the way, that is a brilliant film, the best!
Divx will play just about anything

Thank you both. I'm watching it on Yogi's link at the moment but I will try both your suggestions so I will know for another time.
I have seen the film before, many moons ago but wanted to compare it with the BBC's offering which I thought was excellent. Thanks again.

Thanks Chris, will do in the morning.
Best to do without Adobe Flash if can. It is junk.

GooglePlay is mainly for Android Phone and Tablet users. Apple's iTunes will deliver a Mac friendly version of the film for the same/similar price.
