Freeview Reception

we lost our freeview reception so rebooted it to get the reception back but we are now tuned into reception from London .With the London reception the picture gets pixilated a lot so we wanted Meridian which we don't get the problem . I know you have to take the ariel out of the socket while rebooting to cut the transmissions from London but don't know when we have to do it. We live on the borders between Berkshire Surrey and Hampshire. Any help please. I know the aerial man can do it but he charges so much every time. Should have written it down when he came last time. Thanking you in anticipation

what do is pull aerial from freeview box then let it search for nothing
it kinda wipes previous setting you had london, then switch off put aerial back in turn on set search again, i should allow you to see regions available, highlight preferred region.
