Connecting Tv And Sky To Splitter Box
3 Answers
My daughter has a sky+ box and tv downstairs and has a tv in her bedroom connected by wires running up through the walls. Up until now, everything was fine but we think the splitter box has packed up so we have a new one. She has no picture on upstairs tv. I wasn't there when she disconnected it as I always make a point of noticing which wire goes where before I undo it. Now obviously the hdmi connection from the upstairs tv and a connection from the sky box have to go into the splitter. The splitter has two hdmi output sockets and one hdmi input socket. Alongside this socket is another hole which says power. Can anyone please advise in simple terms what goes where? Thank you for any help.

Once you've found the power supply then (obviously) the output from that supply goes to the 'power' socket. The output from the Sky+ box goes to the input on the splitter, with the two outputs feeding the two TVs.
