ipods
I'm thinking of buying one on ebay but I heard that they had to be registered to a specific pc. Does this prevent them being used elsewhere? If it was nicked and had been reported stolen am I going to get in trouble for linking it to my pc?
And.... my gf wants one too. Can we have both ipods getting their music from one pc?
Thanks!!

If you are going to use ebay then I would recommend that you get a home address and telephone number of the seller (not a mobile) and speak to them on the phone before sending any money. Also think about using paypal where at least there is some rudimentary protection if things go wrong.
You won't get in trouble for linking a stolen iPod to your pc, but you should try your best to get one that isn't nicked!
You might like to look here: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/
You'll be able to use the iPod on your computer, but you will lose any songs already on it from the previous owner (possibly not a bad thing), as your pc will now be the iPod's 'home' pc. I don't think there should be a problem with using 2 iPods with one computer; the main issue is with using one iPod with more than one computer. Anyway, i'd look at the Apple site if i were you. There are some extremely helpful discussion forums on there - your question has probably been asked and answered comprehensively in one or other of the iPod related ones!
