Problem Uploading Photo

I just tried to upload a photo to a local 'For sale' site on Facebook and it just came up as a line of letters? Never had this happen before, everyone else seems to upload photos really easily! The photo is in my gallery file on my Samsung tab 4. Any help appreciated. Thanks:0)
