Gadget Spy - Spy Pen

My spy pen arrived today and I can't figure out how it works. The instructions are pretty rubbish with the diagrammed so small I had to get a magnifying glass to see how it was numbered.

I've also tried to look for the instructions on line but it wasn't the same and can't find it. Even YouTube, which I had high hopes of finds no the right one, gave me different pens.

I think I've managed to get it to charge the battery. Maybe an hour will be enough?? I shall see how it goes then.

Don't know if it was from China but it got here a bit quick for that lol

It was £30 including postage from Amazon.

Well it recorded video but can't hear it. Not sure if that is the fault of the PC or the pen though.

How do you connect it to the pc to watch the video, and is the picture any good?

It comes with a lead to connect to the pic. The picture is pretty good considering it is only small. I just can't get any sound.

Cassa, if the seller is in the 'market place' of amazon, you should send them a complaint on the amazon website.
They have 2 days to reply to you, or they could get in trouble with Amazon, and they are obliged to replace or give you a refund.

It would help if we knew exactly what Spy Pen it is. Are you able to give us an Amazon link. ?

Most likely it is Not manufactured to record sound.

jno...I agree. Have got the picture but Lip sync is Not in keeping with the sound which I am getting from you. :-)

It is supposed to have sound as well.

I just might have to give it to my kids to sort out. They are thirteen and much better at this sort of thing than me. They figured out why my phone lost all its charge in an hour lol

For full functionality the pen must be paired with a writing pad.

They recommend Bond, Basildon Bond.

Don't panic everyone. Problem now solved.

My 13yr old solved the problem of no sound on my new spy pen... he turned up the volume on the PC.

This is one of the main reasons I had children. I knew technology would outstrip my knowledge pretty quickly so had to have a fall back lol
