Hi,

Could some one explain to me how I get screengrabs from a DVD to my computer?

I have a separate DVD player

I need to know what leads and type of software I need and a general explanation of the procedure.

I have some leads that are for video to video - are these any use? I have never used them so don't know how they work

Many Thanks In Advance

Hi joke, if you have a seperate DVD player you cannot just connect it to a PC, you would need a get a video capture/input card of some kind and to be honest it would be cheaper and easier to fit a DVD drive to your PC and work direct from that.
in addition to qapmoc,

If you use windows and a DVD player drive + software, you will have problems using printscreen key to grab the screen. Windows uses direct draw. You would need to download a specialized screen capture utility
