I frequently use my ipad Skype to phone a friend,s BT landline to be be "welcomed to 1572" where Im told the recipient doesnt want to talk to me! Calling on my land line is fine. Ive checked with my friend who took it up with BT who said they can free selective callers if they know what number is calling. It was explained to them it is a Skype call - they said thats ok just let them know what the callers number is.....!?
Has my ipad Skype a number?

Skype calls show as international and are blocked by many services even if you have bought a Skype number

You need to set up Caller Identification and then provide the number you've been given to your friend:
