I'm so bored with what's on the main TV channels and I don't want to pay subscriptions like Sky etc. Haven't got a smart TV but got ROKU. There is a months free trial for Netflix but again I don't want to pay a subscription. I bought a Netflix voucher for £10 from Tesco and still have it. Could I carry on with a Pay as you go system?

Netflix automatically takes payments monthly but you can cancel at any time. (i.e. you're not tied into a long-term contract).

Now TV works on a similar system, whereby you pay monthly but are free to cancel whenever you want. It also splits its services into different 'passes', so that you can choose whether you want extra channels and/or access to lots of movies.

Thanks but what do I do with the voucher?
Take up the free initial trial. During it, use your voucher to add to your balance (by following the instructions on the voucher), which will extend the free period.

Thanks Buenchico
I gave up on Sky some time ago. Two years ago I went for BTTV and it's pretty reasonable. Lots of series to buy, just takes seconds, and a few sports channels if I need a fix. BT currently have the Ashes.
