My keyboard has stopped responding The mouse moves the cursor but when I type nothing happens. Does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it please?

I've just tried to type an email and again nothing is happening Oh I'm so frustrated with this I don't know what has happened

I have an email from Microsoft account team giving me a numerical code to reset my password

I've no idea why your laptop keyboard seems to be having issues, but can you plug a separate keyboard into the laptop to use until the issue is solved ?

you could try taking the battery out wait at least 60 secs then put it back in.this can cure a few laptop problems
