how long before terabyte hard drives + internet con, and did i spell terabyte right

Terabyte drives are NOT recommended, however unavailable. Imagine filling it and then it biting the dust, you think 10gb of MP3s is a painful loss lol.
look into RAID to acheive 1TB+ capacity.
2. UK backbone links to US and EU backbone links are probably not even 1TB connections, a long while. A 612MB Asymmetric connection to the net costs about 1.2million pounds a year. But consider this.... a modern CISCO router (carrier grade) can handle 4TB/S throughput. Mind boggling.
