Another Scam

This was posted to my FB page - new one on me but be aware.

**WARNING TO THOSE WHO DO TESCO ONLINE**
just had a phone call from a mobile number saying that the order I put through yesterday hasn’t cleared and asking for different banking details. When asked why she was calling from a mobile number, she said because she was a delivery driver. When I asked why she was calling me about my payment when she’s a delivery driver, she couldn’t answer and hung up.
BE WARNED!!! I know a lot of people who use Tesco online for shopping and don’t want anyone scammed. I also googled the number and people have reported the same issue. The number is;

*EDIT* my Tesco delivery came in the allotted time and the driver knew nothing about the phone call

Yes because unless it was sheer luck how did they know you'd even put in an order or use Tesco online for that matter. The suspicious in me might think she was getting inside info from somewhere.

I reckon its a phish. like the "accident that wasn't your fault" THOUSANDS of people get Tesco deliveries every single day...some people may even be silly enough to say "oh no it wasn't yesterday, it was the day before.

Could just be another "story" doing the rounds and has no basis in truth.
