I Get A Lot Of Spam On My Gmx.com Email Account

Can't seem to get rid of it. Anyone have any solutions p!ease ?

If this is a new account, your spam filter will be empty. You need to indicate which are genuine or spam e-mails. This link may help to explain what to do:-

Also note once you start to get spam it is almost impossible to stop it.

Your email address will be on a spammers list and will also probably be given or sold to other spammers.

The best things is to avoid getting it in the first place so do NOT use it to register for web sites or quizzes or competitions or mailing lists etc.

Set up a "dummy" or spare email address when you register for websites, competitions etc.

I have one email address which I ONLY use for family and friends.

I then have other email addresses which I use to register for web sites, mailing lists and so on.

In fact I have half a dozen email addresses for all sorts of different things (one for banking, a couple for web sites, another for technical stuff and so on).

Yes I must get a dozen a day. It does go in spam folder but is such a nuisance.
