Throughout he house we have a kind of LED lightbulb that they have stopped making. They are Aurora2 GU1006/30. As they aren't available anymore, and have an odd long shape, what can we use instead? I emailed the company to ask what we can use as they don't make these anymore and got an idiotic response saying they don't make these anymore.

I've looked these up, and they seem to be a regular GU10 type fitting. There are plenty of GU10s available in LED. As long as you have a flylead to connect into, I would guess that a shorter length should not pose a problem ...... unless of course it's a fixed deep lamp that they fit into.
Any 6w GU10 dimmable LED bulb will do - there are loads on Amazon - one example :

The problem is that the bulbs have to go into a deep fitting. The GU10s you recommend - which I had already investigated on Amazon, Screwfix etc. - are all too short for the fittings we have. I think these long bulbs seemed a good idea the year our electrician installed the new fittings, but that their moment passed and Aurora stopped making this unusual shape.
Ah - OK - sorry - I see the problem.

I'll have another look around in a bit.
Ok. I thought that might be the case.

74mm long enough?

Thank you, that solves the problem.
