I dropped my phone down the toilet for a second, on advice from a friend I then cooked some rice, put in a Tupperware box covering the phone and left for two days.

I took out the phone and the phone is now dripping in condensation so how do I remove the water now as there wasn’t any visible before I put the phone in the rice.

It should have been dried rice.....

the rice was meant to be dry.
The rice is meant to be dry and uncooked!

Some hints here:-

I think you will need a brand new phone.
You should have only handled the phone with chopsticks.
Ditto the 4 above. Trust you took the battery off ASAP.
If so start again with the uncooked rice, and put in the airing cupboard.
Welcome to AB, Lottalaffs....excellent timing.....nice to have new members.
I doubt the lid was necessary. It'd trap moisture that didn't get soaked up by the rice.
Come on folks. Look at this newbie's name.
Well none so far.
you should have added curry paste ?
Since you are in NI, the easiest way to dry out your phone is to find a DUP assembly member and ask them to shout at it - the resultant blast of hot air should remove all moisture.

PS - please could a gnome relocate this thread to Jokes and keep an eye on the OP for more side-splitting posts?
Never never
Will understand why people take their phone to the toilet the amount of people who do it and drop it down it...unbelievable! !

Good grief !
Voltage - a lot of the time it's when the phone is in their back pocket. My daughter has done it quite a few times (only in the pub though, not at home)
