Windows Live Mail 2012
After running a system repair program all my past e-mails and contacts etc. have disappeared. I can get into Windows mail but it is as if it has never been used before. I haver done a Windows Restore but my e-mails have still not come back. What can I do to find them again and reinstall please? I have Microsoft Windows 10. Only partially technically savvy.!!

You could re setup your email account to see if they appear but there are a few dangers in doing that and as a precaution you should copy the email folder to another location
If you feel confident enough you could check the folder your emails were stored in to see if anything is there
For Windows Live Mail you will have to navigate to
C:/Users/username/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows Live Mail
To view AppData you will need to adjust your folder options to show hidden files and folders
Once in Windows Live Mail look to see if there is a folder that suggests it’s your mail box (It will have a vague reference to it) Inside that folder you should find “Inbox””Sent” etc if you look in your inbox hopefully you will see “elm” files which are your emails
My advice would be to copy the folder of your mail box (the one with the vague name) to another location that you can remember and import them if once you have re setup your email account nothing appears
