Every time I contact British Telecom these days, someone in India responds. Has it effectively become Indian Telecom in all but name?

If you want to challenge a payment or if you make a complaint you always get British operators. I think it's mainly broadband issues that are dealt with in India. I always try and go through complaints if at all possible.

they were a fantastic idea
good efficient service in natural English
BUT
quality control was not paid attention to
and the result is a disaster

Lessons neednt have been learnt - all they had to do was the right thing in the right way from scratch which is not rocket science

not just BT but many businesses have located their call centres in India. EE for example, and others i have come across. I phoned Canon for advice about my new printer and got someone in Greece!

I phoned BT a couple of days ago regarding broadband and I spoke to a very pleasant young lady with a Scottish accent. I don’t know if she was in Scotland though.
