Photos On Picasa

Is there anyway at all to get pics off Picasa please. I haven’t used it for ages so didn’t realise google don’t support it now. I have 100’s of pics on there and of course can’t sign in to google now. I want to email some but ideally would like to just put them somewhere safe. I don’t have any great hopes but thought it is worth a try to ask the tech geniuses on AB before I throw my laptop thro’ the window in frustration.

This web page says the photos in Picasa have all been moved to Google Photos.

Just log on to Google Photos with your Gmail address (if you have more than one GMail address use the one you used to log on to Picasa)

Wow that was quick Guilbert56 and site looks very promising, I have to go out now but will try it when I get back :o) thank you for replying, why didn’t I ask AB three days ago, I would still have some hair left lol

Well I have found my pics thanks to you Guilbert53 so glad they weren’t lost, I have 360 of them, it seems as if I have to upload them one at a time altho I was in bit of a hurry so maybe missed something or would I have to do that please? rosy

Do you mean 'upload' or 'download'?

As the pictures are already in the cloud and, I assume, you want to get them onto your computer, it will be instructions for 'downloading' which you require. If so, see here:

I will try that Chris thank you I just want them on my laptop I saw them all last night on Picasa which was great but couldn’t go any further with them to share or anything because google wouldn’t let me sign in. Thank you for replying, rosy

I have managed to get a lot on my laptop, I don’t think they are all there but am amazed at how many are, pics from my phone, even from my kindle which I never use now! I don’t find google as easy to use or as clear a layout as Picasa but that is probably just me (I don’t find any technology easy to use :o( but I will persevere and hopefully get better (and pigs might fly) but thank you both for your info. & help xx rosy
