Hp Laptop Problem

Need your help guys.... I turn on my HP Laptop and Log on. All screen icons
appear as normal. No matter how long I wait all that happens is I get a rotating ring and I can’t get any further. All help appreciated. Telboy

Try clicking on one of the icons and see if it settles down.

If you are sure that your internet connection is good and that you do not have an app or programme trying to load...…...turn off the lappie, then remove the battery for a few minutes. Replace battery and switch back on. Does this cure it?

Don’t have battery connected.

Do you mean you don't have the power lead? The battery would be within the base of the laptop (won't work without it)

A HP lap top surely has a battery. Do you mean that you always run it with the power lead and transformer and never on battery alone? Regardless...…..just remove the battery anyway for a minute or so then power up again to see if it helps.

somethings trying to load, have you tried alt ctrl del a the same time
to take you into task manager, to see what is trying to load and taking up memory, have you installed anything recently, you could use
ccleaner program/tools section/startup and disable what it is.
