easy to use web page creation software?

any advice on programs to make webpages, without lots of complicated html stuff, I'm looking for a real idiot proof package (i.e. drag and drop style)?

Microsoft Word ?

You can create a document with Word and then do a "save as" to save it as HTML.

Also Microsoft Front Page is fairly easy to use.

It's a matter of personal taste, of course, but I tried Web Plus and hated it. I use NetObjects Fusion 9 Which I find great for managing and integrating the whole site.

As long as you're only wanting to do simple stuff, I'd suggest going the FrontPage route.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I have got hold of webplus and installed it, problem is I already have a number of pages saved in html format which I'd like to edit and that programme only recognises its own file format, so my only option would be designing it all from scratch (which i would like to avoid!). Will try front page now. But keep the sugegstions coming!

I've got Web Plus (and I've experimented with several other programs) but, as fo3nix says, if you're keeping it simple, FrontPage is probably as good as anything.

(Regular visitors to the I&T section will know that I hate just about everything that MIcrosoft has ever produced so, if even I find myself forced to admit that FrontPage is quite good for beginners, it can't be too bad! If it's on your PC, use it. Otherwise download Web Plus 6 for free).
