Catching the bus to work each morning, I log on to the free Wifi. After about 15 mins I cant access it.
Catching the bus back I log on to the free Wifi. After about 15 mins I cant access it.
Ive only recently acquired a smartphone, is it something to do with my phone or something to do with First Bus wifi?
(Journey each way is just over half an hour)
Initially thought it may have been due to something to do with picking up a signal or something but then realised that it worked both ways on the journey but for only about 15 mins or so.
Just wont connect after about 15 mins no matter where I travel?

Wifi services on public transport services rely upon the bus or train's system being able to connect to the internet through local phone masts. (Anyone who's ever used the wifi on Eurostar trains will know just how often the signal drops out when crossing very rural parts of France and Belgium).

Perhaps there's a 'hole' in the phone mast coverage roughly mid-way through your journey?
Maybe stop streaming those films, and potter around on AB instead ;-)

Interesting thought Chris thanks. Will try connect to Wifi halfway in my journey next time instead of straight away, see what that does...

Nah! I try to start my day in a positive frame of mind ;-)
Just as an experiment I connected to Reading Buses' website as soon as I got on the bus today and was able to use it continuously for the half-hour journey.
