I've had a massive clearout, but would like to re-examine a few Folders. Because my Drive structure has become very complicated, is it possible to view the contents anywhere, without restoring them to their original place?

I don't think you can move the 'recycle bin' away from the drive its on. But, you can 'drag and drop' any file/folder in the 'recycle bin' to another location ie backup drive, usb stick/drive. You can then view them from that location.

You can open your recycle bin and look at the items in it. I'm assuming you haven't emptied the Recycle Bin

All deleted items are still in the Bin. I know that I can see eg. a Folder but need to look inside to see the files without restoring it. I was wondering if I can transfer the Bin to a backup device and look into it from there.

if you want to do it in one go, you can't move the bin, but you might be able to copy/paste it
