I'm with TalkTalk and I'm happy with the package I have. All I have is the internet with any time calls to landlines and mobiles. They also throw in little extras like free caller display and last call blocking etc. Now my cousin is looking for something similar but doesn't want to go with TalkTalk because she has had problems with them in the past. Can you recommend a different provider, please? Like me, she would be happy with just Freeview on her TV and Pay as you Go on her mobile, so basica\lly the package I have but not with TalkTalk. Thanks.
Thanks 4candles, I'll have a look at that. Would you happen to know if my cousin would have to pay money to Sky as she would be leaving before the end of her contact?
The only problem is, when I checked out their website, the price they quoted was for the first years contract and then it goes up another £10 a month. Did any of you find that? My contract with TalkTalk goes up every year but I always get them to do it cheaper by saying I'll go elsewhere. Do you do that with Plusnet?
I've noticed that sombody in the same place as me has a phone number that is not in the same range as the rest of the place and they are with Sky - so it must be that.
I still have our original BT number - and thats after being with BT, Talk Talk, BT, EE and now Now.
Now is part of Sky.
Plusnet is owned by BT but run as a separate company.
So, she went from TalkTalk to Sky and had to change her number and if she goes to Plusnet she will have to change it again but if she went to Now, (as they are part of Sky) would she be able to keep her number do you think?
I remember getting an email when I switched saying "your new number is" which confused me as I thought why have they sent this? My "new number" on the email was my existing number!
