I have several thousand photos on my hard drive but can't get them to display as thumbnails, only as tiles.
When I had windows xp it was straight forward. All i had to do was select my photos folder and select view as thumbnails but this option doesn't appear (or is well hidden) on the most annoying operating system (Windows 10)that i have ever used and I go back as far as
windows 3 11 I think it was called.Hope someone can help as microsoft help doesn't seem to know what a thumbnail is other than something on the end of your finger.AAAAGGGGGHHHHHH
hi old geezer.By thumbnails I mean mini photos.
I've tried your suggestion stephen and i get a long list of options but none of them work.
Could it be something to do with the fact I transferred the photos by disk to my new computer? As I say it worked perfectly well on my old computer. I would click Search,Photos and a thousand or so small photos would appear
hi guys.None of the answers worked but thanks anyway.I stumbled on the answer by pure luck.I opened file explorer and among the 4 icons,"downloads" this "PC" "desktop" etc, i noticed that I had 3 "Picture" folders. I moved all my pics from "One drive" folder to one of the other picture folders and Voila,I have my mini photos back. What's One Drive anyway?
