My problem is the actual screen picture is back to front when being viewed. My previous HP did not have the problemIE when holding a book or writing its wrong way round when being viewed. This is via the web cam as previous post.I dont need to turn a photopreviously on file.
i.e. what do you have to click on to get a video window to open?
If you can't answer that, please provide the exact model of your laptop (from the sticker underneath it), so that we can try to work out which software your laptop is using, as it's that software which will be reversing the image (rather than the webcam itself).
If I'm understanding correctly, the problem is that when you're looking at the live picture on the camera itself (not saved images and videos, etc), the image is reversed and you want to correct this, so the live view of the camera isn't a mirror image??
YES.If I look at a programme NGHVIDEO Editer NCH suite and call up the web cam the picture is correct but I cant use the NCH prog to send web cam on skype. When I use skype it reversed Sorry to be a pain!!
It might also be worth trying some different software. If you've already got some video-conferencing software on your laptop (such as Zoom) try that. Otherwise try Yawcam:

Now we know that you're using Skype. (As I indicated above, it's the specific software that we need to focus on here). Have you checked whether or not the person 'on the other end' is also seeing mirrored text? This thread seems to suggest that you should be seeing a mirrored image but the person you're calling should get it the right way round:
