I'm new to W10 and Edge.
When I click on a link in an email it doesn't open in a new window. I have to minimise the Mail box to see the webpage in question. where's the setting to change this please?
I don't use Edge. (Only around 5% of desktop users do, so it's far from popular). However every desktop browser I've ever come across offers options to 'open in new tab' or 'open in new window' when you RIGHT-click on a link.
Not fully understanding the situation, especially the minimising the mailbox thing. Are you using an e-mail client or going to the e-mail provider's server to view. In either case, which client or provider. Whichever it is, does it not have a settings page you might find options in ?
If it's an Edge only issue, it should have settings in it's menu too. Or you could try another browser.
Only suggestion from me is to right click on the link and choose either open in a 'New Window' or 'New Tab'. An automatic response doesn't appear to be available. There might be additional settings for those with a Microsoft account, which I do not have or want.
