Does anyone know why my printer has started doing this:
It prints a page and a blank paper comes out behind it,
just started doing it the last couple of days, thought it
was a blip the first time it did it but it's all the time.

Mine does this when the paper tray is low on paper
It just means that the first page is a little oversized so reduce the top and bottom margins slightly or close up the text in the document slightly in the vertical ie take a blank line out.
Also, make sure that you haven't accidentally turned on "Print Cover Page". This should be set to 'None'.
This option can be found in one of the drop down menus when you print usually "Media & Quality" or "Layout".
When you go to File > Print (or hit Ctrl P), go into the settings and check that the paper size is correct. The problem you mention can happen, for example, when the size is set to US Legal, rather than to A4.
