Most experts seem to all agree that nuts are very healthy, but they seem to have a lot of fat in them. Won't eating high fat foods like nuts make it more difficult to lose weight?
Nuts are a plant's way of producing a new generation and, as such, need to contain enough energy to fed the new plant until it has grown roots and shoots, when it can then feed itself. High energy content = a lot of calories.

Yes. You have to eat less of other foods or exercise more to use up those calories. But the nuts themselves are healthy, unlike some other snack foods.
