New phone??

I have just got an upgrade mobile phone on contract,a Sony Ericsson K700i,when my friends transfer sounds to me via bluetooth or PC,I can play them,but cannot use them (i.e as a ringtone).I have bought 1 ringtone via Vodaphone Live,which has a key symbol by it,as do the preset ringtones.But the transferred ones do'nt.Anyone know why??????????

There is nothing wrong with your phone bex, its simply vodafone being tight fisted so and so's.

They have put software on the phone which blocks the sending and receiving of certain files such as mp3's so the only way toget them is to download them from VODAFONE LIVE at a few quid a pop.

That explains it all,wish I'd changed when I upgraded now,but now I'm stuck for 18mths.POO!!
