How To See What Is Trending On Twitter

Can anyone advise me on how to see what is trending on Twitter on my iphone please?
When I open the app I am able to see the recent posts of people that I am following, but can't seem to see a list of what is trending. I have googled it but I can't see the three dots or the hashtag discover button that is mentioned.
I have updated the app so it should be the most up-to-date version.
