Sky Q Box Remembering Router Password.

I’ve asked the question on the Sky forum but haven’t got an answer.
Just had Sky Q installed with a mini box in another room. The main box keeps losing internet connection. I keep having to type the password in letter for letter number etc. Why doesn’t the box remember the password as it does on other products ie iPad iPhone etc. I guess it’s the signal from my router is a problem but why doesn’t the Q box remember the password when the signal is OK.
