Problem With Hotmail Autofill Addresses
5 Answers
For some reason, when I went to use my Hotmail address today, it suggested three address similar to my own in the autofill address bar. Does anybody know how to stop them from coming up? And why have they appeared? It couldn't be an indication that the computer's been hacked, could it?

Have a look at the following and depending on which browser you're using, click on the appropriate link and you'll find instructions on how to clear the autofill data:

Thanks, Gizmonster, but the addresses aren't that close to my own to have been a mistake on my part. For example, if my address were [email protected], these addresses are [email protected] and [email protected] As I'm accessing my e-mails through Microsoft Mail, I'm not sure that the link is going to help much. Thanks for trying, though. If you should happen to have any other ideas, I'd appreciate them.
