what is a tao image

i have downloaded a demo pf king kong and it is a tao image.i don't seem to be able to unpack it with the programs i have.i believe it has to be mounted on a virtual drive with daemon but do i need to install it first somehow.

You don't need to unpack it. Rename the .tao file to .iso and then mount it with Daemon Tools (or Alcohol 120% if you prefer) - when it has mounted it will act just like another drive and will autorun the demo installation.


Or, you should be able to just burn it onto a disc using Nero or similar programs.

thanks aquariel but i can only rename the main title by right clicking rename so how do i rename the file.

...You might have to look at your folder options as you could have Hide file extensions checked.....commoner
