E Mail Gone Awry

I have G Mail and can't understand what's happened. When i click on new mail, there's nothing there, nor in any of my mail box, yet i have a dozen or more folders, click on anyone of them and there is no mail. is there someway to log out of G Mail and log back in. When i have put items in the trash folder, nothing in it.
Inbox says nothing there. but i know there should be.
I don't know if this makes any sense. it doesn't to me.

it works out in Chrome, but not Microsoft Edge.

i logged out and logged back in, its made no difference, still can't see mail in the inbox.

i have used Chrome and sent myself an e mail - its not appeared in the Inbox of Microsoft edge.

Have you tried clearing the cookies and browser cache, always worth a go if only to rule out.
Has it worked properly in Edge before?

no idea how to clear cookies, and yes its worked fine until this morning, i am now switching between Edge and Chrome just to get any e mail updates.

Delete cache and cookies in the new Microsoft Edge

Open Microsoft Edge, select Menu (3 dots icon on top right corner of the browser) > Settings > Privacy & services.

Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.

Select "Cached images and files" and "Cookies and other site data"

check box and then select Clear.

i have done that, but there still seems to be a problem with google mail, when i open out my g mail in chrome half my emails in folders are missing, same with Edge, anyone understand this.
i click on each folder and more often or not where there should be old e mails there is none. i am at my wits end over this.

In Edge my e mails in box is there one minute and then gone, then frozen, no new mails either, but it works sort of in Chrome, though there are problems with that too.

my email in Edge is completely shut now, if i look in new mail there is nothing there, nor in most of the folders, yet if i use Chrome most of what i had is available to view, anyone know how i can unlock my
g mail in Edge.. i have done as suggested but nothing so far works.

chris nope it doesn't work, i click open my recent e mails in edge and there is nothing there, nor in any folders, only works seemingly in chrome. even there e mails are missing. all my council e mails, C tax ones, and important G mail i keep for my records.

As I've just written on your other thread, use Windows 10 Mail and your problems should vanish.
