Wireless music
Hi again
Can someone please let me know what I need to send all the music on my PC (Windows Media Player, about 200 + albums) to my Hi Fi system in the downstairs lounge. I know I need to install wireless facilities, but not sure what.
Many thanks

Try this http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1721647702.1134140697@@@@&BV_EngineID=cceeaddghdgdefjcflgceggdhhmdgmi.0&page=Product&fm=10&sm=2&tm=undefined&sku=589695&category_oid=-24978 if you just want to plug into a stereo not tv. I believe net gear do one aswell
D-Link do a package where you get a wireless access point and separates sized reciever that you just plug in to you aux ports. This is cheap and fairly good (a friend of mine got one).
The Roku and a D-Link will probably cost you about 200( if you get the slightly older Roku M1000 probably cheaper) all together whereas the D-Link package will cost about 120
Another cheeky way to do this costing from as little as 8.00 on eBay would be to buy a wireless FM transmitter.
I plan to use one to connect my iPod to my car stereo. Basically the unit plugs into the headphone jack of a PC or MP3 player and you select a "free" frequency to broadcast on.
Then all you do is tune the radio in your house to that frequency and eh viola you have whatever is playing on your PC pumping out of the radio!!!
Its probably highly illegal but there you go!!!
