can i get a converter for my tv and surround sound the tv doesn’t have phono socket just hdmi and surround sound has phono socket

As far as I know such a converter would only carry stereo sound, not surround sound.

I have one that takes the phono sockets from my dvd recorder to the HDMI input on the tv - but I think you want HDMI OUTPUT to phono?

Try ebay or Amazon or *Ad which shall not be named*

What you could do is look on there first to see if what you want exists then look for it on ebay or amazon
