Good grief, Buenchico, you have been helpful for many years. MY IT skills have moved on. The model is HP 276dw, CN34L13GGK. The missing printhead, not detected etc issue is universal. I went through all HP data which always resulted in 'new printer' requirement particularly if out of warranty. I have solved the issue accidentally by finding a chip from the printhead on the floor near my desk. I will post another message 'ink cartridge of tubes'. Thanks for being there.
