Texts To Laptop

I have a number of texts on my mobile that I want to keep. Is it possible to transfer them to my laptop? If so is it easy or a lot of hassle? Android phone and W10 if relevant. Thanks.

Some top-of-the-range Samsung phones make it quite easy using Windows:

There's also Samsung Flow, which is designed for transferring content between Samsung phones (running Android 7.0 or later) and PCs:

Otherwise the usual way to do it is to copy the text and then email it to yourself:
