New Kindle

I have just purchased a new Kindle but I am having trouble registering it on Amazon. I know it is probably very simple but that's how I feel right now !!!

I feel such a ninny. I appear to be stuck on the page to register the kindle. I can't seem to get rid of it. I don't want to go ahead with it as a I don't know if I have to open a new account.

The trouble starts when I put in my email address and password. I get a link to www.amazon,co.uk/code but when I go there I cannot find where to put the codeq4
