My Location Setting
9 Answers
Occaisionally when on my laptop, my location is set as some 100 miles from home. Its been the same since I bought it and its not somewhere I have been, so not left over form a previous use. If I use Google its fine, but today I clicked on a link for a list of cinemas showing a live screening and it gave me the venues 100 miles away.
Where would this setting be found?

You should also be aware that the location used by websites is the one given by your IP address, which will be where your ISP's server is located, rather than your own address. (To see where that is, click here: https:/ /whatis myipadd ress.co m/ ).
