Hi, I bought a new laptop & it came with a months Free trial of McAfee which I took out. Since then I realised I still had 10 months of AVG left which I transfered form my old laptop. Today my trial has expired but all I'm getting is pop up messages stating this & that I have threats if I don't update!! What can I do please to 'GET RID!'

Ok but is the main McAfee still present then? Go to settings and search for apps, look down the list, it's probably still there.
