No Pencil Icon On My Android Whatsapp

How can I get one? I want to delete some contacts in WhatsApp. They are just phone numbers, so I don’t know who they are and they are not in my usual Contacts list where I make a phone call. Apparently I need the Pencil Icon to delete them ……..

right click, remove chat.

ok I was talking about whatsapp on the PC.
on a phone select the chat then the elipsis top right then "more" then "block" or "clear chat" or whatever you want to do.

Thanks, I tried block but it doesn’t get rid of the phone number, neither does clear chat.
