my grandaughter has got a logitech web cam for xmas but can not get it to work do you have to pay to use a web can on msn?

No, MSN is totally free.

Install the webcam software (although you shouldn't need to on Windows XP (SP2)).

There is a webcam settings window in the Tools section of MSN.

...quite right dosset..........open MSN and select tools/Audio and Video set up.........then in the "Wizard"click next..next ..next to get the web cam set up page and your camera should be on the menu for you to select as the camera to use............

for usb the camera should not need software but that depends on your operating system...........good luck....commoner

ok thanks for the answers looks like anti virus prog was preventing set up
