It's just coincidence. The print head just needs cleaning.
Different makes and models of printers have different ways of cleaning the head but the following universal method should work:
Click the Start button.
Click the 'Settings' cogwheel.
Click 'Devices'.
Select 'Printers & Scanners'.
Click on your printer model.
Click 'Manage'.
Click 'Printer properties'.
Click the 'Maintenance' tab.
Click the 'Cleaning' button.
You might need to run the cleaning process several times before it works. If it still doesn't, try the 'Deep cleaning' option instead. (With really blocked ink jets, I've sometimes had to use 'Deep cleaning' about a dozen times in order to fix the problem but, with luck, you should get there much quicker than that).
