can only find seriously expensive commercial companies but I just have one old 'transparency' as they used to be called of a dog we used to own. I want to get a photo from it for mum who despite her dementia talks about her a lot.
That's a thought, years ago you could just pop into any decent Boots. Might try another Max as well as the girl in my local one didn't even know what a 'slide'was
I have a scanner but without light behind it the slide is black, projecting it and photographing didn't work as without a proper slide projector the image distorts
I am just starting to do this to my 1000 plus old slides. using my camera, macro lens stand and light box with great results.
Most cameras have a macro facility so you could try that using a greet sky of diffused light to do it.
If not just for one slide, I suggest you ask you local camera club if any member could do it fior you. It's not difficult and many members should have the equipment required.
