Ab Ads While Abroad

I'm currently abroad and AB is covered in adverts again. Is this because I'm abroad or because the removal trial has been rescinded? I don't care as I'm totally disillusioned with the site anyway as I've mentioned but just mildly interested in the answer to this question.

Certainly appears to get more Spam than the mods seem able to keep up with.

I only see ads when I'm not logged in, not when I am.

Mods can only delete spam that’s posted ordinarily. They can’t do anything about adverts.

No Naomi, they are not reportable, just me being too sensitive for the site these days. OG's answer above is a prime example.

I look at the site every day, so many long term members showing their unpleasant side. You Naomi I really admire, the way people speak to you now is often shocking and it doesn't faze you. I take things too personally.

I hope you dont go Prudie, we need all the sensible posters that we have got. I dont post in news, opinions often seem so rigidly polarised. I wish we could bring back someone like Mickey, I often didnt agree with him but his opinions were always well argued and polite

It was a sad day when we lost Mikey, Rosetta. I rarely agreed with him on anything … but he liked a good discussion and he had a good sense of humour, so much so that we were practically engaged you know. ;o)
