Car Trackers

Hi ABers out there .... some friends of ours have just had their car stolen, but thanks to the car tracker device that had been installed, they were able to find the car in a matter of hours - thankfully nothing taken, nor was the car damaged in anyway. So we're thinking of getting one for our own car - our local service garage have told me that they are unable to fit a car tracker (but I suspect that they might have heard the word "fix" instead of "fit". Does anyone out there know if these are easy to fit oneself, please. I also believe that they work through a mobile smart mobile phone - do these work on Android mobiles, please? And also I appreciate that there are so many different brands on the market currently, can anyone recommend a really good quality one, please? Many thanks, Chox.

Many options available trackers that hard wire in to your car and battery. Many people would be able to install and set up themselves.
