I can't find a facility on my iPad to block it,

4 or 5 times a day - that's almost as bad as the begging bowl from Answerbank.

What email are you using?  If you use the same email on all your devices, blocking a spammer should be effective on all of them.

How are you blocking the spam?

Question Author

By using the drop down menu and saying 'mark as spam' I've done this with the wretched McAphee but still it keeps arriving and yes I use the same email address, the only other I have is the one I use here

What is the email address of the spam sender?  Copy and paste it in full.

If you drag it to the Junk folder before deleting it, then future emails should go straight to Junk.

Question Author

It won't allow mt to copy & paste so I've taken a photo of it

I think you'll find that all these scam warnings re McAfee come from slightly different addresses each time to avoid being blocked.

I don't know what you use for email but you should be able to block the domain.

Copy everything from the @, open your email settings, click filter and paste under 'block'.

Your email settings might be slightly different to mine

I think gingerbee could be right , I just can't find a block facility on my Apple iPad or phone

Please tell us how you access your emails.  GMail, Outlook?  Give us a clue.

Sky/ yahoo Barry

Does this help, Bobbi?  Block the domain, from @

Question Author

That's very helpful indeed Barry, thanks so much

I always block domains, unless it's common like GMail or Yahoo.  That would cause a whole heap of problems.

But spammers get a domain and can change the first part of the email address as often as they want, so blocking the part from @ is much more effective than blocking the whole address or reporting spam

^...but is it going to do the job when the email addresses are always slightly different?

Question Author

They're very clever Barry, I'll ring Sky in the morning or Apple, or both

...the only part of the address which doesn't change is "onmicrosoft.com"...I know, I'm pestered by exactly the same stuff (from USA).

Question Author

Canary , BA for that 😜

Bobbi, you don't need to phone anyone.  Just block the domain in the settings

Question Author

I'm currently waiting for Sky to answer me as every address is a different one after checking Barry , as gingerbee said
