Can't Get 'New Folder' To Come Up On My Laptop.

Using 'file explorer' in files and folder I used to be able to right click on a folder and could creat a new folder. Just recently I've lost this ability. I've Googled the problem but the suggestions I got haven't resolved the problem. Any one know what might have happened?

Wolf63, that is my problem. When I right click on Desktop I don't get the option 'New' which used to be there previously. I've been doing this since I first used Windows many many years ago.

I am sure I got that option. My windows computer has gone to bed for the night so I can't recheck it.

I googled the problem and got this answer ..

Simply head to the location where you want to create the folder and press Ctrl + Shift + N together on your keyboard. Once the folder is created, you can rename it to anything you want.

I'm afraid not ToraToraTora. I get 'undo new' or 'redo new'. All I want is 'new'.

Undo/redo new seems to imply there is an action in progress. Can you up load a screen shot of what you see, remove any ID type info. https://imgbb.com/
