Lenovo M8 8" Tablet - Help Please With A Set Up Problem Again!

As you all know I returned my Huawei Tablet last week and bought this new Lenovo today - it is easier for me and it takes my emails ok plus it has Play Store.

I have managed to set it up using all your help from previous set ups and have loaded everything inc correct sounds/notifications but think I have done somethong wtong!

I have the home page with all the apps I use but when I go into an any app  once I have finished with it I cannot get back to home page without restarting it! On my old Lenovo a few years ago and other tablets there were dots at bottom of home page and clicking on middle on brought me back to home page but there is only a line. Tried swiping up using my fingers and this worked once or twice but not always.

Have I done something wrong in 'settings' please? This is driving me mad. Tried swiping all ways but nothing helps so where is the dot at bottom of screen for Homepage?

Thanks again everyone and sorry to be so obtuse - as I say everything else works perfectly.

Those icons at the bottom of the screen that navigate you to the home screen should be there.

I can't think of a reason why they are missing but will give it some thought.  Hopefully someone will have the fix

Try opening settings-additional settings-system navigation

Make sure 'buttons' is ticked.

Barry you are brilliant! There were two settings and the one for the three buttons at bottom of screen was blank. I opened it and the three dots are now at bottom of screen!!

Have sorted everything else out at got all mt apps I need from Play Store - glad I returned the Huawei.
